We recommend booking your flights into Brazil from the US on Wednesday, July 24th and returning to the US on Wednesday, July 31st. The flights will be overnight, so you'll arrive in Brazil on Thursday, July 25th and back in the US on Thursday, August 1st.

This is a two-in-one property with standard hotel rooms (Arena) and apartments (Anna) to accommodate those who'd like a bit more space but still want to utilize the hotel's conveniences. The property has offered a 10% discount from the published rates to match their member pricing for our wedding guests, so you'll need to enter ALEXISMALCOLM at check-out in the promo code section. This will apply to either property for the dates of our wedding. We recommend booking the accommodation as soon as possible to guarantee your rate. The site offers options for paying at the time of booking or paying on-site at the hotel, so you can choose the option that is best for you.

Staying in our hotel room block is optional, of course, and if you'd like to book a different accommodation, you're absolutely welcome to do so. We recommend staying in the Ipanema neighborhood if you decide to find your own accommodation.

Ubers are cheap, safe, and easy to find once you have arrived, but if you'd like more freedom to roam around the surrounding area, you can also rent a car. Movida and Localiza are two popular car rental agencies, and all you'll need are your US license and passport to rent. If you choose this option, we recommend booking with full coverage insurance, just in case.

We DO NOT recommend renting a car for driving around the city. If you'll be staying in Rio, Uber is a much easier option for getting around.
